Dancing With the Stars: Double elimination on Horror Movie Night

Season 35 of Dancing With the Stars saw a double elimination during its Horror Movie Night episode, resulting in the departure of Tyler Cameron and Jackson Olson. Because no contestants were eliminated during the previous week’s Dedication Night, scores from both episodes were combined to determine the results.

Tyler Cameron, partnered with Sharna Burgess, exited after receiving a 26/40 for a Viennese waltz inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Cameron later addressed his visible frustration on camera, explaining in a TikTok video that he felt he had let his partner down and needed a moment to process the disappointing scores.

Jackson Olson and partner Emma Slater were also eliminated. Earlier in the evening, Harry Shum Jr. and Jenna Johnson achieved the season’s first perfect score of 40/40 for a contemporary routine inspired by the Saw franchise. Guest judge Shirley Ballas, known from Strictly Come Dancing, participated on the panel, providing critiques for the remaining eight couples.
