Dandadan stage adaptation premieres in Tokyo

The first stage adaptation of the popular manga series ‘Dandadan’, titled ‘Dandadan ~Occultic Stage~’, premiered on August 26, 2026, at the Nippon Seinenkan Hall in Tokyo. The production is based on the Shueisha manga by Yukinobu Tatsu, which has surpassed 14 million copies in circulation.

Directed by Kaito Imoto, the play features Saki Murayama as Momo Ayase and Reimu Ninomiya as Ken Takakura (Okarun). The production aims to translate the manga’s high-speed action and supernatural themes into a live theatrical experience using physical expression and dance. Following the Tokyo run, which concludes on September 3, the production will move to Osaka for performances at Sky Theater MBS from September 11 to September 13.
