Danfoss opens new factory near Gdansk, Poland

Danish energy giant Danfoss has officially opened a new factory in Tuchom, near Gdansk, Poland. The 22,500 square meter facility includes 19,000 square meters for production and warehousing, alongside 3,500 square meters for offices and employee facilities.

Managed by the HydronicS business unit within Danfoss Climate Solutions, the plant aims to double current production capacities, which presently stand at approximately 8,000 heat nodes annually. These prefabricated units are used for controlling, measuring, and transferring thermal energy in building heating and cooling systems. The facility is designed to eventually employ up to 500 people.

Adam Jędrzejczak, Danfoss Director in Poland, stated that the investment is a key step in the company’s LEAP 2030 strategy. The expansion is intended to meet rising demand driven by the green energy transition, specifically in district heating and data center cooling sectors. The opening coincides with the 35th anniversary of Danfoss's operations in Poland.
