Danfoss to showcase desalination technologies at Aquatech Mexico 2026

Danfoss High Pressure Pumps (HPP) division will showcase advanced technologies for seawater reverse osmosis desalination (SWRO) at Aquatech Mexico 2026. The event is scheduled for September 1–3 at the Centro Banamex in Mexico City.

The company will exhibit two primary solutions designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs: the iSave® energy recovery device and the APP high-pressure pump family. The APP pumps utilize axial piston technology to achieve up to 92% efficiency. Because high-pressure pumping can account for approximately 65% of the operating expenses in a desalination plant, these technologies aim to directly lower water production costs.

Additionally, the iSave device is a 3-in-1 configuration that integrates an isobaric pressure exchanger and a booster pump to recover energy that would otherwise be lost during the desalination process.
