Dangdut Academy 8 Announces Top 42 Contestants Across Indonesia

Indonesia’s televised singing competition Dangdut Academy 8 has finalized its Top 42 lineup, featuring contestants from a wide range of provinces. Among the finalists is Intan Ladiva Marsya, known as “Diva,” who hails from Kuantan Singingi in Riau. She secured a golden ticket after performing Lesti Kejora’s “Sekali Seumur Hidup” and impressed judges with her natural stage presence, vocal dynamics and energetic body language.

The full roster includes participants from cities and regencies such as Garut, Surabaya, Bandung, Medan, Palembang and many others, highlighting the nation’s cultural diversity. The Top 42 will compete in upcoming episodes on Indosiar, with the first welcome concert scheduled for 13 July 2026.
