Hong Kong car runs red light, narrowly avoids hitting domestic worker and two children

On Tuesday around 1 p.m., a private car travelling on the Hong Kong bridge at Hung Shui Bridge ran a red traffic light, nearly colliding with a domestic worker and two young children who were crossing the road. The vehicle accelerated through the intersection, stopped just before striking the pedestrian group and then turned off its hazard lights before driving away.

The incident, captured on a dash‑cam video shared online, sparked public outcry with netizens urging police to investigate the dangerous driving. As of the report, the police had not received a 999 emergency call related to the event.
