Dangerous incidents reported on M0 and M30 motorways

Recent footage has highlighted dangerous incidents on Hungarian motorways. On the M0 motorway, a man was observed walking back and forth along the top of a high noise barrier near the highway. The incident, reported by a driver on September 27, prompted an emergency call to 112. While police presence was noted in the area via traffic apps, there is no official information regarding how the individual was removed from the barrier.

In a separate incident released by Magyar Koncessziós Infrastruktúra Kezelő Zrt. (MKIF), traffic cameras on the M30 motorway near Miskolc captured a collision caused by an improper lane change. A light truck driver attempted to assist a truck merging into the fast lane by moving into the inner lane without signaling. This maneuver resulted in a collision with another vehicle that had been unable to react in time. MKIF released the footage as a safety warning to encourage drivers to use indicators and ensure maneuvers can be completed safely.
