Dangjin City conducts livestock hygiene inspections

Dangjin City, in collaboration with Chungcheongnam-do, is conducting joint inspections of livestock hygiene through October 30. The initiative targets meat packaging, sales, and instant processing businesses to ensure the supply of safe livestock products and prevent illegal distribution.

Key inspection areas include the verification of livestock origins, checking for expired products, and monitoring the forgery of expiration dates. Authorities will also ensure compliance with storage and distribution standards. For beef products, officials will perform DNA identity testing and genetic examinations to detect fraudulent distribution practices.
