Dangote Cement donates educational materials to Lagos school

Dangote Cement Plc has donated classroom furniture and essential learning materials to Ladi-Lak Nursery and Primary School in Apapa, Lagos. The initiative was conducted through the company’s Clinker Terminal as part of its school support programme.

The donation includes items such as chairs, tables, and school bags, aimed at improving the learning environment for pupils and assisting teachers in delivering quality education. This intervention is part of the company’s broader Social Investment Programme, which targets education, healthcare, infrastructure, and economic empowerment in its host communities.

Wakeel Olayiwola, Group Head of Social Performance at Dangote Cement, stated that the intervention reflects the company’s commitment to supporting communities and complementing government development efforts. He noted that these investments are designed to promote sustainable growth within the areas where the company operates.
