Dangote Cement hosts London Capital Markets Day ahead of LSE listing
Dangote Cement Plc, Africa’s largest cement producer, hosted a Capital Markets Day in London to present its growth strategy and prepare for a proposed secondary listing on the London Stock Exchange (LSE).
The company reported a revenue of US$3.1 billion for the twelve months ending June 2026, noting a revenue CAGR of 40% between 2023 and 2025. Dangote Cement currently operates with an annual capacity of 55 million tonnes across 11 African countries. The engagement in London aims to increase visibility among global institutional investors and broaden the company's investor base beyond its existing listing on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX).
Management highlighted the company's integrated “quarry-to-customer” model and its efforts to achieve FX neutrality through exports. The company also noted a strategic shift in logistics from automotive gas oil to compressed natural gas to improve efficiency.
