Dani Alves sought contact with banker Daniel Vorcaro

Former Brazilian footballer Dani Alves attempted to reconnect with banker Daniel Vorcaro in July 2024, shortly after his release from a Spanish penitentiary. Vorcaro, the founder of Banco Master, is currently under investigation by the Brazilian Federal Police for various financial market frauds.

Messages recovered by the Federal Police reveal that Alves reached out to Vorcaro, expressing admiration for him. This follows a previous connection between the two dating back to 2019, when Alves reportedly invited Vorcaro to join a diamond mining partnership.

Alves was originally detained in January 2023 following allegations of sexual assault against a woman in a Barcelona nightclub in December 2022. He was released from the Brians 2 penitentiary after paying a 1 million euro bail.
