Dani Ceballos returns to Real Betis on three-year deal

Spanish midfielder Dani Ceballos has officially returned to Real Betis on a free transfer. After rescinding his contract with Real Madrid, the 30-year-old has signed a three-year deal that runs until June 30, 2029.

Ceballos, who began his professional career at Betis in 2014, returns to the club after a nine-year tenure at Real Madrid. During his time in Madrid, he secured numerous titles, including three Champions League trophies and two La Liga titles, and also spent two seasons on loan at Arsenal.

The midfielder has already begun training with his new teammates under manager Manuel Pellegrini. His return is set against the backdrop of Betis preparing for La Liga fixtures, including an upcoming match against his former club, Real Madrid. Ceballos has expressed his enthusiasm for the move, stating, “I have dreamed of being here.”
