Dani Mocanu assigned supervisory role at Jilava Penitentiary

Dani Mocanu, a singer convicted of attempted murder, has been assigned supervisory duties at the Jilava Penitentiary. After initially being denied work due to being classified as a dangerous inmate, prison authorities have now tasked him with overseeing activities in the prison's creative workshop.

Mocanu is responsible for monitoring inmates engaged in creative tasks such as painting, origami, and woodcutting. His role includes ensuring that prisoners complete assigned tasks and reporting any violations of internal regulations to coordinating officers.

In an effort to qualify for conditional release, Mocanu has been actively participating in various educational and social reintegration programs, including religious education courses, psychological counseling, and gym sessions. While he is permitted family visits, he has not yet been granted any leave or permissions.
