Dani Olmo discusses stadium donation for Vukovar

Spanish footballer Dani Olmo is in discussions with Vukovar city officials regarding a donation to support the construction of the ‘Stadion 12 hrvatskih redarstvenika’. Olmo, who developed his career at Dinamo Zagreb, has expressed a deep sense of gratitude toward Croatia, describing the country as a second home.

Reports indicate that Olmo has been contributing a portion of his salary to support communities and families in the Slavonia region, specifically in Vukovar and Slavonski Brod, through the ‘Common Goal’ organization. This initiative uses football to assist individuals who have faced significant hardships. While Olmo previously preferred to keep his charitable contributions private, his representative confirmed the ongoing contact with Vukovar authorities.

Mayor Marijan Pavliček announced that the city intends to host the Olympic, European, and World champion, noting Olmo’s significant personal connection to the country.
