Dani Pedrosa to perform MotoGP demonstration at F1 United States GP

MotoGP Hall of Famer Dani Pedrosa will lead a high-speed demonstration run at the Circuit of the Americas (COTA) during the 2026 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. Riding a KTM RC16, Pedrosa will be one of four riders showcasing MotoGP machinery to an expected crowd of over 400,000 fans.

This event marks the first time MotoGP riders and motorcycles will share the spotlight during a Formula 1 Grand Prix weekend. The demonstration is scheduled for Saturday, October 24, ahead of the third free practice session (FP3). The showcase aims to introduce F1 spectators to the speed and sound of MotoGP, with bikes capable of exceeding 225 mph.

In addition to the track action, MotoGP will host fan activations in the circuit's Fan Zone throughout the weekend. This promotional effort serves to build momentum for the return of the MotoGP Grand Prix of the United States to COTA, which is scheduled for April 23–25, 2027.
