Dani Sordo to debut in rallycross at Montalegre

Spanish driver Dani Sordo will make his rallycross debut at the RallyX Global Final, held at the Montalegre International Circuit from October 23 to 25. Sordo, a former Junior World Rally Champion and veteran of the World Rally Championship (WRC), will compete in the FC1 Hypercar category.

The FC1 Hypercar features 1,100 hp and all-wheel drive, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in 1.4 seconds. This transition marks a significant disciplinary shift for Sordo, moving from traditional time-trial-based rallying to the direct, side-by-side track combat and strategic Joker Laps characteristic of rallycross.
