Daniel Abreu to lead dance masterclass at Espai LaGranja

Choreographer and National Dance Prize winner Daniel Abreu will lead a masterclass at Espai LaGranja on October 5. The session, scheduled from 11:00 to 13:00, is organized by Espai LaGranja—a resource space for choreographic creation under the Institut Valencià de Cultura (IVC)—in collaboration with the Festival Bucles.

The masterclass is designed for professionals in dance and movement arts. It will focus on the relationship between the body, surrounding space, and stage presence. Participants will explore methodologies developed throughout Abreu’s career, including bodily listening, balance, instant composition, and the quality of gesture.

This event is part of Espai LaGranja’s ongoing mission to serve as a living infrastructure for the movement community in the Valencian Community, providing training, research resources, and artistic experimentation laboratories.
