Daniel Alves assets seized over R$ 7.7 million debt

A court in São Paulo has ordered the seizure of a farm in Juazeiro, Bahia, and the blocking of a 2021 Porsche 911 Carrera belonging to former footballer Daniel Alves. The legal action aims to guarantee the payment of a R$ 7.7 million debt owed to the GAD Fundo de Investimentos em Direitos Creditórios.

The ruling, issued by Judge Miguel Ferrari Junior of the 43rd Civil Court of São Paulo, also includes the seizure of 50% of an urban property in Juazeiro. The farm in question covers 64.4 hectares and is registered solely in Alves' name.

The debt stems from a 2021 contract termination agreement between Alves and the São Paulo football club. After the club paid the first eight installments of a R$ 22.8 million settlement, Alves assigned the rights to the remaining installments to the GAD investment fund. The fund reportedly faced difficulties receiving the scheduled payments from the club, leading to the current legal dispute.
