Daniel Barát transfers from Slovácko to Sigma Olomouc

19‑year‑old winger Daniel Barát has completed a move from FC Slovácko to Sigma Olomouc after more than six months of negotiations. The transfer is part of a broader deal that also saw Tihomir Kostadinov and Artur Dolžnik move in the opposite direction to Uherské Hradiště. On the same day, former England international Danny Welbeck signed a two‑year contract with Chelsea after leaving Brighton, where he scored 13 Premier League goals last season. Additional transfer rumours in the Czech league include David Horejš being mentioned as a possible replacement for Viktoria Plzeň’s coach, and Newcastle United reportedly negotiating a €30 million fee for goalkeeper Braga. Julian Brandt is also set to join Ajax after his spell with Borussia Dortmund.
