Daniel Billings to face sentencing for murder of Molly Ticehurst

Daniel Billings, the 31-year-old man convicted of murdering Forbes childcare worker Molly Ticehurst, is scheduled to appear in person at the Orange Court House for sentencing submissions.

The hearing will take place over two days, on Thursday, September 3, and Friday, September 4, 2026. During a recent mention in the Supreme Court Sydney, Billings appeared via audio-visual link from the Metropolitan Remand and Reception Centre at Silverwater.

Molly Ticehurst, 28, was found dead in her home in Forbes on April 22, 2024. Billings previously pleaded guilty to murder in December 2025.
