Romanian striker Daniel Bîrligea has joined the Italian Serie A club Frosinone on loan from FCSB. The deal, which lasts until the end of the 2026-2027 season, involves a fee of 1.5 million euros.

Former Romanian international and Borussia Dortmund player Marcel Răducanu has criticized the transfer valuation. Răducanu suggested that FCSB owner Gigi Becali could have secured a higher fee, noting that Bîrligea possesses strong qualities both offensively and defensively. He remarked that the player likely sought the move to escape the difficult atmosphere at FCSB.

Bîrligea has already made a start for Frosinone in a Coppa Italia match against Sassuolo, where he had a goal disallowed.
