Daniel Cormier recruits Usman Nurmagomedov to join UFC

Backstage at UFC 330 in Philadelphia, former two-division UFC champion and commentator Daniel Cormier attempted to recruit PFL lightweight champion Usman Nurmagomedov to the UFC. Cormier urged Nurmagomedov to stop “wasting time” and join the promotion to build his legacy, challenging him to prove his skill against the UFC's lightweight roster.

Nurmagomedov, the cousin of Khabib Nurmagomedov, was present at the event to support teammate Islam Makhachev. Having recently completed his contract with the PFL following a knockout victory over Archie Colgan, Nurmagomedov is currently a high-profile free agent. UFC President Dana White has previously indicated openness to signing the fighter.
