Daniel Dias shares high-performance lessons at São Paulo event

Paralympic swimmer Daniel Dias delivered a lecture titled ‘Sorria’ (Smile) at the SDE Bisutti Talks event in São Paulo. The gathering, organized by the Instituto Sou do Esporte in partnership with Bisutti, brought together executives, entrepreneurs, and sports leaders to discuss the intersection of high-performance athletics and the business environment.

Dias, who retired with 27 Paralympic medals—including 14 gold, seven silver, and six bronze—shared insights on managing pressure, overcoming difficulties, and the importance of valuing the process of achieving goals. He emphasized making the journey toward success lighter by maintaining a positive outlook.

Fabiana Bentes, president and founder of the Instituto Sou do Esporte, noted that Dias’s experiences provide valuable lessons for both personal and professional development, bridging the gap between Paralympic sports and broader life challenges.
