Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley set for heavyweight title rematch

Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley are set to face each other in a heavyweight rematch for the WBO title at the 02 Arena in London on October 17, 2026. The bout follows their first encounter, where Dubois secured a victory by stopping Wardley in the eleventh round.

Reflecting on the previous fight, Wardley noted that he became too “single-minded” in his attempt to finish the fight early. He stated that he needs to be able to “adjust on the fly” and adopt a more relaxed approach rather than simply trying to power through.

The event, promoted by Queensberry and broadcast on DAZN Pay-Per-View, features an undercard including Bakhodir Jalolov versus Solomon Dacres. A victory for Dubois could potentially lead to a unification bout with Tyson Fury.
