Daniel Dubois eyes heavyweight unification and potential 2027 Tyson Fury clash

Following his two-round stoppage victory over Fabio Wardley to retain his WBO heavyweight title, Daniel Dubois is targeting a return to the ring in February. Promoter Frank Warren is considering a heavyweight unification bout against Agit Kabayel, pending the outcome of Kabayel’s upcoming defense in Germany.

Other potential matchups include a rematch with Filip Hrgovic, who was present at the Wardley fight. Looking further ahead, boxing journalist Gareth A. Davies has predicted a major domestic showdown between Dubois and Tyson Fury in 2027. Such a fight would likely depend on Fury’s performance in his scheduled December bout against Anthony Joshua.
