Daniel Elfadli joins LASK on loan from Hamburger SV

Defender Daniel Elfadli has completed a loan move from Hamburger SV to the Austrian club LASK. The 29-year-old centre-back joins the Austrian side to gain opportunities in continental football, as LASK has qualified for the Champions League.

Elfadli, who has been under contract with Hamburger SV until 2028, saw his playing time decrease following an adductor injury last season and increased competition within the squad. Hamburger SV sporting director Claus Costa stated that the loan provides a fantastic opportunity for the player due to his diminishing role at the club. The deal reportedly does not include an option to buy.
