Daniel Garcia directs $100,000 AEW donation to MusiCares

AEW wrestler Daniel Garcia has designated MusiCares as the recipient of a $100,000 donation made in honor of the late Andy ‘The Butcher’ Williams. The funds were attached to the winner of the Butcher Battle Royal, a special main event held during the September 12, 2026, edition of AEW Collision.

Garcia, who won the battle royal, stated that the donation was chosen because MusiCares was a cause important to Williams. Williams was a professional wrestler and a guitarist for the band Every Time I Die. MusiCares provides financial assistance, mental health support, addiction recovery services, and disaster relief to individuals working within the music industry.
