Daniel Hartman charged in fatal Idaho Falls hit-and-run
An 18-year-old man is facing felony charges following a fatal hit-and-run in Idaho Falls. According to Idaho Falls Police, the incident occurred on August 23 at the intersection of East Anderson Street and North Holmes Avenue.
Police report that a motorcyclist was stopped at a red light when a vehicle struck him and fled the scene. The motorcyclist was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.
The suspect, identified as Daniel Hartman, has been booked into the Bonneville County Jail on charges of vehicular manslaughter and leaving the scene of an injury accident.
