Daniel Křetínský tops new rankings of wealthiest Czech and Slovak individuals

Recent wealth rankings for the wealthiest Czech and Slovak individuals show significant shifts in assets, driven largely by growth in the energy, defense, and investment sectors. Daniel Křetínský, owner of Energetický a průmyslový holding (EPH), has risen to the top position with an estimated wealth of 480 billion CZK, up from 349 billion CZK the previous year.

Renáta Kellnerová and her family follow in second place with 405 billion CZK. Michal Strnad, owner of the Czechoslovak Group (CSG), holds the third position with 347 billion CZK, following growth in his holdings and assets. The top five is completed by Karel Komárek with 252 billion CZK and Jozef and Patrik Tkáč with 213 billion CZK.

Other notable figures in the top ten include Radovan Vítek (139 billion CZK), Andrej Babiš (111 billion CZK), Pavel Tykač (110 billion CZK), Martin Drda (109 billion CZK), and Ivan Jakabovič (105 billion CZK). The total combined wealth of the top ten individuals has increased from 1.94 trillion CZK to 2.27 trillion CZK.
