Daniel Klose qualifies for Darts World Championship

Daniel Klose has qualified for the Darts World Championship at Alexandra Palace for the first time. The 46-year-old from Germany secured his spot through the PDC Challenge Tour after a dramatic comeback against Archie Self, overcoming a 1-4 deficit and surviving three match darts.

Klose’s qualification follows several previous unsuccessful attempts to reach the tournament. In 2023 and 2024, he narrowly missed out on qualifying via the Pro Tour Order of Merit. After losing his Tour Card, he sought alternative routes through the PDC Europe Super League and the Challenge Tour. His recent success on the PDC Europe Next Gen, where he won three tournaments, helped pave the way for this achievement.
