Daniel Lancaster prepares for Endurance Brasil and Andean mountain challenge
Racing driver Daniel Lancaster is expanding his physical training beyond the racetrack to prepare for upcoming competitions. As part of his routine for the Endurance Brasil series, Lancaster participated in El Cruce, a multi-stage mountain competition covering approximately 100 kilometers across the Andes mountains. To prepare for the extreme temperatures, altitude, and terrain, he underwent three months of specialized training, including nutritional guidance and hiking in various terrains.
In addition to his physical conditioning, Lancaster is focusing on technical preparation for the Brasília stage of the Endurance Brasil championship. Driving the Ligier P320 #22 for Autlog Racing alongside teammates Flávio Abrunhosa and André Moraes Jr., Lancaster has highlighted the importance of cockpit technology and team coordination. The endurance racing strategy involves precise communication with the pit crew and managing the prototype's performance through shared driver rotations to maintain competitive consistency.
