Daniel López Villegas opens ‘Miradas’ exhibition in Huelva

The exhibition ‘Miradas’ by artist Daniel López Villegas opens this Monday, September 14, at the Centro Cultural ‘José Luis García Palacios’ in Huelva. Hosted by the Fundación Caja Rural del Sur, the showcase will run until September 30.

López Villegas, born in Huelva in 1946, describes his style as a ‘trasteo en el realismo con respeto y satisfacción’ (a play on realism with respect and satisfaction). His diverse body of work includes landscapes, still lifes, figures, seascapes, and scenes from the Rocío paths.

Beyond canvas paintings, the artist has produced drawings, advertising posters, and large-scale low-relief murals found in various private and corporate locations. His career has also included using his artwork to support charitable and solidarity initiatives.
