Daniel Maldini scores in four consecutive matches for Cagliari

Daniel Maldini has reached a significant milestone in his career with Cagliari Calcio, scoring in four consecutive Serie A matches. This achievement makes him the first Cagliari player to do so since João Pedro in 2020.

In a recent Serie A fixture, Maldini opened the scoring for Cagliari against Juventus, though the match ultimately ended in a 1-1 draw after Randal Kolo Muani equalized for the visitors. Maldini's recent form includes decisive goals against Lecce, Atalanta, and Udinese, earning him the title of Cagliari's Player of the Month for September.

Beyond his on-field performance, Maldini is currently under a transfer agreement with Atalanta. Cagliari president Tommaso Giulini noted that the club has a right, and potentially an obligation, to purchase the player permanently for 8 million euros if certain goal-scoring targets are met.

This period of success follows a challenging time for the player, which included a high-profile traffic incident in Milan in September 2023 involving alcohol levels above the legal limit.
