This is not the first instance of such remarks; Martyniuk has previously described the city and its residents with harsh language, including terms like “bottom and seaweed” and claiming the city's name causes him headaches. He has not provided a specific reason for his intense dislike of the city.

In addition to his comments about Białystok, Martyniuk has been involved in public verbal exchanges with other media figures, including Marcin Miller, following discussions regarding his participation in the program “Nasi w mundurach” and comments made about his father, Zenon Martyniuk.
