Daniel Michalowski caught filming in Manchester gym changing rooms

Daniel Michalowski, 45, was prosecuted at Manchester Crown Court for secretly recording women and children in gym changing rooms in Wythenshawe, Manchester. Over a three-month period, Michalowski used his phone to film through cubicle gaps, capturing 12 women, one man, and a child.

The incident was discovered when a gym employee noticed a phone being withdrawn from an adjoining cubicle in a unisex changing room. Although Michalowski initially provided a fake name and claimed ignorance regarding his phone's deleted folder, security staff intercepted him before he could leave.

Police analysis of the device uncovered 19 voyeuristic videos featuring 13 separate victims in various stages of undress, including a minute-long video of a child. Prosecutors also noted that Michalowski had conducted online searches for voyeurism on pornography websites.
