Daniel Muñoz joins Nottingham Forest from Crystal Palace in £22m deal

Nottingham Forest has completed the signing of Colombian international Daniel Muñoz from Crystal Palace in a deal valued at approximately £22 million (25 million euros). The 30-year-old right wing-back has signed a three-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The transfer reunites Muñoz with his former manager, Oliver Glasner, who previously coached him at Crystal Palace. During his tenure with the Eagles, Muñoz was a standout performer, helping the club secure the FA Cup, the Community Shield, and the UEFA Conference League. He recorded 11 goals and 16 assists in 109 appearances for the London club.

Muñoz, who has earned 51 caps for Colombia, expressed his excitement about joining the club, describing Forest as a “winning club” with significant talent and ambition. He is expected to join the squad ahead of their upcoming Premier League fixture against Tottenham Hotspur.
