Daniel Olbrychski joins Ranczo revival as Australian cousin; Netflix adds new Polish series and Nolan film

Actor Daniel Olbrychski revealed he will appear in the returning Polish TV comedy "Ranczo" as the Australian cousin of the Japycz family, a role he described as a moving experience and a dream come true. The series, after a ten‑year hiatus, is set to resume production and introduce new characters alongside familiar faces.

Netflix announced its August 2026 lineup, featuring the third season of the Polish comedy series "1670", the horror anthology "Oszukać przeznaczenie", and the continuation of the Spanish adaptation of "Sto lat samotności". The streaming platform will also stream Christopher Nolan’s 2006 film "Prestiż" starring Hugh Jackman, Christian Bale, Michael Caine, Scarlett Johansson and Rebecca Hall.
