Daniel Pancu addresses past conflict with Marius Șumudică

Daniel Pancu, the current coach of Rapid, has addressed a past conflict with former teammate and coach Marius Șumudică. Pancu explained that the tension arose from a televised comment regarding Rapid's playing style, where Pancu argued the team needed to score more goals while Șumudică was satisfied with a clean sheet.

Pancu noted that the disagreement led to Șumudică blocking his phone number for approximately two months, which hindered Pancu's ability to contact him regarding youth players during a national team training camp in Dubai.

Additionally, Pancu commented on Șumudică's recent apologies to FCSB supporters. Expressing skepticism, Pancu questioned how Șumudică would manage his interactions with opposing fans during future direct matchups between their respective teams.
