Daniel Peev-Dundee reflects on career struggles and personal health

Bulgarian actor Daniel Peev-Dundee shared personal reflections regarding his career and mental health during an interview with Marian Stankov-Mon Do. He discussed his early years as a student at NATFIZ, recalling a notable encounter with professor and former Minister of Culture Stefan Danailov.

Peev-Dundee opened up about the personal struggles he faced behind his comedic public persona, including periods of financial hardship, panic attacks, and weight fluctuations where he reached 130 kilograms. He noted that he often used humor to mask insecurity and social anxiety.

The actor also touched upon his relationship with Emilia, stating she recognized his kindness and naivety, and reflected on his journey from difficult professional beginnings to his victory in the television format ‘Like Two Drops of Water’.
