Daniel Pielucha awarded Bronze Gloria Artis Medal

Painter Daniel Pielucha has been awarded the Bronze ‘Gloria Artis’ Medal for Meritorious Service to Culture. The award recognizes his significant contributions to artistic creation and the protection of national heritage.

Pielucha, known for developing a style he calls ‘Polish surrealism,’ received the distinction during the 12th Autumn Painting Plenair in Stare Sady ‘Pod Jabłoniami’ near Mikołajki. The medal was presented by Deputy Minister of Culture Maciej Wróbel. Pielucha’s work frequently integrates Polish landscapes, tradition, and symbolism with imagination and folklore.
