Daniel Rosatelli detained in narcotics investigation

Lawyer and police commissioner Daniel Rosatelli was detained on August 19 as part of a narcotics investigation. The case stems from the seizure of 1,345 kilograms of marijuana in San Gustavo, La Paz.

Rosatelli's defense team, including Miguel Ángel Cullen, Rubén Pagliotto, and Damián Petenatti, maintains there is no evidence linking him to drug trafficking. They argue the investigation is a retaliatory measure following Rosatelli's complaints regarding the misappropriation of funds within the 911 video surveillance service. The defense claims the case lacks communication records or footage connecting Rosatelli to criminal networks and characterizes the legal proceedings as a targeted operation to damage his reputation. Rosatelli is currently being held at the Paraná Penal Unit No. 1.
