Daniel Salazar and Learner Tien achieve professional tennis milestones

In professional tennis, Colombian player Daniel Salazar reached his first professional final at the ITF M15 tournament in Bielsko Biala, Poland. After defeating Richard Antoni, Jan Sadzik, Linus Lagerbohm, and Alec Beckley, Salazar fell in the final to local player Marcel Zielinski in three sets.

In the ATP Masters 1000 Montreal, 20-year-old American Learner Tien advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Thiago Tirante 6-4, 6-4. Tien is scheduled to face Dani Mérida in the next round. Tien noted that his focus on repetition and refining small details has helped his confidence throughout the tournament.
