Daniel Sancho family awaits Thai court appeal decision

As the Phuket Court of Appeal prepares to resolve an appeal regarding Daniel Sancho, his family has spoken out regarding his situation in Thailand. Sancho is currently serving a life sentence for the murder of Edwin Arrieta and is held in Surat Thani Prison, where he is permitted only one weekly video call to speak with his father and legal team.

Noela Aguirre, Sancho’s grandmother, expressed her continued belief in his innocence and noted that he is doing well despite the circumstances. She also addressed rumors regarding his father, actor Rodolfo Sancho, stating that legal action is being considered following false reports involving artificial intelligence.

Reports from within the prison system indicate that Sancho has been receiving love letters from various individuals. Additionally, a Spanish woman reportedly attempted to visit him to offer support, though she was denied entry due to strict prison regulations regarding non-family visitors.
