Daniel Senna launches National Alliance for Childhood and Development

Lawyer Daniel Senna, president of the NGO Todos Por Um, is launching the National Alliance for Childhood and Development (ANID). The initiative will be officially introduced on September 14 at the University of São Paulo's Law School.

ANID aims to establish a permanent national agenda for the protection and investment in Brazilian childhood. The alliance seeks to move beyond fragmented public policies by treating education and child protection as core strategies for economic development, innovation, and the reduction of inequality, rather than merely palliative assistance.

The launch event is expected to include parliamentarians, members of the justice system, academic representatives, business leaders, and civil society entities. Following the launch, ANID plans to structure permanent working groups to monitor goals, attract public-private partnerships, and work toward the eradication of child labor.
