Daniel Serwer warns Kosovo of political fatigue amid ongoing crisis

American political analyst Daniel Serwer said the political scene in Kosovo is "saturated with crisis" and has not seen a productive period in the past year and a half. He noted that frequent elections have contributed to a sense of loss among political actors.

Serwer criticized the Kosovo government for delaying a U.S. gas project, describing the American gas as "very expensive" and urging Kosovo to make its own decision while considering its national interests. He also commented on Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić’s defence of Milan Radoičić, asserting that the Serbian judicial system should prosecute the individuals involved and suggesting Vučić’s remarks are politically motivated.

The analyst called for Kosovo’s institutions to demonstrate capability by electing a president and forming a new government, highlighting the need for consolidated governance in the Balkans.
