Daniel Sterzik questions European readiness against hybrid threats

Blogger Daniel Sterzik has expressed skepticism regarding the readiness of European nations to face hybrid threats from Russia. In an interview, Sterzik pointed to a lack of visible defensive infrastructure, noting the absence of drone protection networks over power distribution centers and a lack of anti-aircraft systems near critical sites like the Dukovany nuclear power plant.

Addressing recent warnings from Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk regarding potential Russian aggression, Sterzik questioned the actual state of preparedness, citing the frequent passage of drones and missiles from Ukraine through Polish airspace as evidence of vulnerabilities in air defense.

In the Czech Republic, following warnings from Russian threats, the Security Information Service (BIS) and President Petr Pavel have urged vigilance while cautioning against unnecessary alarmism. Sterzik criticized the handling of intelligence communications and the perceived weakness in Czech defensive readiness.
