Daniel Suárez documentary to chronicle NASCAR homecoming in Mexico

A new documentary titled ‘Suárez’ will premiere on FS1 on September 17, chronicling the career of NASCAR driver Daniel Suárez. Produced by FOX Sports, NASCAR Studios, and WV Alternative, the film explores Suárez’s journey from Monterrey, Mexico, to becoming the first Mexican-born driver to win a NASCAR Cup Series race.

The documentary focuses on the historic 2025 NASCAR race weekend in Mexico City, which marked the series’ first points-paying championship race held outside the United States since 1958. The film provides behind-the-scenes access to the emotional homecoming for Suárez, highlighting the personal sacrifices made by his family and the immense pressure of competing in front of a home crowd.

In addition to the FS1 broadcast, the film is scheduled to be available on Tubi in the United States, Mexico, and other Latin American markets starting October 17.
