Daniel Vorcaro submits expanded delação to Brazil's Federal Police

Former Banco Master owner Daniel Vorcaro delivered a revised delação premiada to the Federal Police (PF) and the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGR) on 1 June, ahead of the 12 June deadline set by STF minister André Mendonça. The new document is described by investigators as “more complete,” containing additional names, dates, and annexes that were missing from the earlier version rejected two weeks earlier.

The proposal, prepared by lawyer Sérgio Leonardo after a change of counsel, expands on alleged links between Vorcaro and politicians from the Centrão, including members of the PP, União Brasil and PSD. PF officials indicated they view the submission positively and will scrutinise the material for new, verifiable information before forwarding it to the STF for possible homologation.

Vorcaro’s legal team hopes the revamped delação will prevent his transfer from a privileged confinement area to a common cell at the PF superintendent’s headquarters. The investigation also demands reparations of up to R$ 60 billion for alleged financial irregularities tied to the Banco Master scheme.
