Daniel Vorcaro under investigation for private party and film financing
Federal Police investigations into Banco Master founder Daniel Vorcaro have revealed details regarding a private Halloween party held in October 2023 at the Madame Underground Club in São Paulo. WhatsApp messages indicate the event was organized with the assistance of former minister Fábio Faria, who helped manage the guest list. The party reportedly included approximately 120 women and 20 men, with strict rules prohibiting mobile phone use to prevent leaks. Messages also mention invitations to high-ranking officials, including Senators Rodrigo Pacheco and Davi Alcolumbre, and Supreme Court Minister Dias Toffoli, though these individuals have denied participation.
Separately, investigators are examining the financing of the film 'Dark Horse,' a biopic about former President Jair Bolsonaro. The Havengate fund, which received millions of dollars from Vorcaro, reportedly remained inactive for nearly four years before receiving a US$ 2 million transfer in early 2025. While Flávio Bolsonaro claimed the fund was created specifically for the film, the Federal Police suggest the fund was originally intended for a Texas real estate project that never materialized. The investigation is looking into whether these funds were used to support Eduardo Bolsonaro's residence in the United States.
