Daniel Vorcaro linked to Supreme Court Minister party and media influence
Leaked WhatsApp messages from former banker Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master, have revealed several controversial activities. Investigations by the Federal Police indicate Vorcaro organized and paid for a party at his São Paulo apartment in February 2025 that included sex workers and a private chef for Supreme Court Minister Kassio Nunes Marques. The Minister has denied any wrongdoing or preferential treatment.
Further messages suggest Vorcaro attempted to influence the press by allegedly offering R$ 1 million to a crisis manager to delay and alter a report by Folha de S. Paulo. Additionally, communications indicate Vorcaro was involved in negotiating a betting business with União Brasil president Antonio de Rueda and commissioned anonymous videos to attack journalists Malu Gaspar and Lauro Jardim.
Other revelations include the use of funds transferred to the United States to finance a film about Jair Bolsonaro, a transaction that a whistleblower claims was misrepresented as a real estate investment. Vorcaro's defense has petitioned the Supreme Court to investigate the leak of these private conversations, citing a “public lynching.”
